Chinese New Year is my favorite holiday, and there are some reasons why I love it. First, I don’t have to go to school on this day. So I can stay up late watching TV and playing online games the night before. Second, I can meet my cousins. Since they live in other towns, we seldom meet each other for a long time. But we can have dinner and play together on this day when my relatives as well as my parents visit my grandparents. Third, the mood everywhere is resolutely up. Many people and their families go to shop for the daily supplies needed for the period of New Year. Also, we can see people set off fireworks in the street. That’s why Chinese New Year is my favorite holiday.
